Now what?
Because there are some things we can't know until we meet them in our actual lives.
Whether we'll enjoy the thing we've been thinking about.
What happens when we say the thing we've been rehearsing.
Whether something we thought we wanted still matters when we get closer to it.
What changes when we stop thinking about doing something and make a little contact with it.
And sometimes we don't need to understand or do anything at all.
Sometimes we need to stop
Sometime we need to do something..
What happens in the space between knowing and doing something?
There isn't one right place to begin.
Which is why my work has three different doors.
Understand.
Pause.
Experiment.

Psychotherapy for exploring what's happening and why.

Space to stop, notice and experience without having to fix anything.

For the things you can only discover by meeting them in real life.

For years, my work has involved sitting with people and being curious about what it means to be human, the patterns we repeat, the ways we adapt, the relationships we build, the things we believe, and the lives we actually live.
Psychotherapy is part of that work. But it isn't the whole of it.
I'm interested in what happens inside us, in the spaces where we stop and notice, and in what we discover when we actually meet life and experience it.
I draw from psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Somatic approaches and Sound healing but no single framework explains a human being.
I don't think people are problems to solve.
I think there are times to understand.
Times to pause.
And times to find out what happens next.
That's what The Remembering Empire has become a home for.
For when there's something you want to understand more deeply.
Working out what's going on
and why.

Breathwork, Sound and guided meditation - including meditation adapted for aphantasia.
Time to stop, notice and experience without having to fix anything.

Choose the 'thing' you've been meaning to do.
Move one degree towards it.
See what happens.

A gentle introduction to parts work —
and the idea that you are not one fixed identity,
but a system of inner parts trying
to protect you.
You’re not broken. You’re layered.

A gentle return to yourself when life has felt loud.
A soft starting point for women who feel capable on the outside but quietly disconnected within.
Slow down. Let your body settle.
Begin returning to your own rhythm, one step at a time.

You don't have to decide today.
Sometimes the first step is simply a conversation.
A quiet space to talk about where you are,
what feels stuck,
and whether this work might be right for you.
No pressure
No expectations.
Just a place to begin.
A quiet thread to follow when you're ready.
Each week I share something honest , a reflection, a practice, an observation from the work. Not a newsletter in the traditional sense. More like a letter from someone who's been paying attention.
No noise. No urgency. No performing wellness at you.
Just one thing, once a week, that might make something in you exhale.
